We've just bought a 1920's bungalow and noticed there is some rot to exterior weatherboards that is letting in rain and causing a small amount of visible rot to one kauri floorboard in our baby's room. We'd like to replace the weatherboard and do what we can with the floorboard. We'd also like to cut a bigger access/trapdoor in our ceiling to our roof space so we can insulate the roof. We have a very high stud over 3 metres. The existing trap is tiny and may need reinforcing.
