The cost of this was way higher than expected. It was agreed that it would cost $200 at the start and extra costs for things like ‘waiting time’ kept being added. At one point the tradesman was asking for over $900 to complete the job, paid up front which I refused. Ultimately I agreed to pay $625 just to get the job completed. There was a lack of clarity around what the extra costs were for.

Owner was unavailable but I was advised an employee was coming whom had limited English. I was totally fine with that as he seemed to understand exactly what I wanted and managed to complete the task at hand to my satisfaction. The final cost wasn't in my budget and actually exceeded it but I was so desperate I was willing to do the job on the spot. Plus it was basically a rushed job, I cramed it all into one day so price is understandable in that aspect. All in all, I am happy with the work!
