House leaking into the conservatory between where the roof finishes and the aluminium joinery starts. Have lifted part of the roofing iron (corrugated) and it can be seen that the back edge of the gutter is higher than the butanol covered area of the roof. The gutter is not blocked but I am making the asumption that the gutter is backfilling into the roof cavity and finding its way into the house.

Excellent contact and advice. Started out as an issue with a leak as reported but upon further investigation, it was identified that the whole roof and some framing was rotten. I guess that's what happens after 60 years and correcting others shortcuts.
