Widen door frame

I want to know if it's possible to widen this door frame (just the sides, top is fine as it presumably has a beam) so that the door frame is the same width as the hall. The left juts out about 40mm and the right 120mm. The wall is load bearing as it was originally an external wall (the lounge is an addition).
