Install chicken wire on top of chimney

We have a problem with birds flying down the chimney and dying in the log burner. We would like some kind of wire mesh, maybe chicken wire, to be installed on the top of the chimney. Note, the house is two story. Job is for the supply and installation of one anti-roast sparrow system.
