We are looking to 'do something' with the original laundry and converted carport - room, currently used as storage, in our modest 1960s brick home in Hillpark. The converted carport leaks through the floor and roof. Don't think the floor level was raised when it was closed in, so the wooden doors leading out the back sit directly on the concrete outside and are rotting. We would like drawings of possibilities done that we can then take to builders for quotes. Possibilities including moving the laundry into the waterproofed carport room and getting rid of the old toilet to open up the kitchen/dining room into the current laundry space. Or just sorting out the carport room and modernising the laundry and taking out the old toilet.
