Electrolux 7.5kg front loaded. Water leaking from beneath filter pump compartment at the bottom right. A technician from a repair company checked and found the seal around the filter pump broken. He gave a quote, part is cheap but labour cost exhorbitant calculated at 10 min block and no guarantee how long the job will take

Technician checked for 30 min and didn't find any issues; he said it must have been due to some loose plugging and he tested a wash cycle without any water leaking. So in the end the issue is gone (not exactly sure how and why, so can't comment on their workmanship) but I think the charge is reasonable and the technician said if the same issue recurs within 3 months, they won't charge the callout fee. This last bit is at least reassuring
