Technician checked for 30 min and didn't find any issues; he said it must have been due to some loose plugging and he tested a wash cycle without any water leaking. So in the end the issue is gone (not exactly sure how and why, so can't comment on their workmanship) but I think the charge is reasonable and the technician said if the same issue recurs within 3 months, they won't charge the callout fee. This last bit is at least reassuring

The technician initially advised me that repairs would be more cost-effective than replacing my dishwasher, but after completing the job, the cost was $270—only slightly less than a brand-new machine ($350). If I had been given a full quote beforehand, I would have opted for a replacement. The company was polite in their responses but unwilling to offer any goodwill discounts, despite having a further parts order pending that they could have applied it to. Wouldn’t recommend on that basis

When booking I did mention ESC cert, the lady on phone should have told b4 hand they don't provide, technician however did ask b4 he continued His communication was not great either as he should have shown me his license sticker b4 puting on appliances That very poor training as why would you stick on appliance if it blows up there no where to locate personnel, that's why sparky hand out ESC separately
