The only materials we require is to fix hole created by removal of chimney. We also need some finishing done in our laundry, have the necessary materials to complete.

We have a 102 metre square ex state home that needs the exterior paint stripped, and then needs to be repainted. On two sides the paint is peeling and flaking off (see photo). On the other two sides it is not too bad (so the existing paint may only need to be sanded back a little and repainted rather than completely stripped). All of the window frames also need doing.

Re-roof with new iron any type considered, including barge flashings and a fire wall flashing. Approx size 6m x 3m with 400 overhang. I think the person that decided on this driveway design owned a 4x4. With any car if you tackle the driveway head on there is a serious amount of scraping. I was hoping someone could provide ideas and a price on altering the the join area so a standard car can use the driveway without scraping. In the photo it is hard to tell but the driveway next to it with similar angles has a depression in the join and this appears to work well for their vehicles.

Replace small exterior wall and build trellis fence

The job has 2 parts. 1) One is to replace an exterior wall that has deteriorated (photo #1). The exterior wall is currently fibrolite and has been water damaged. The material to be used can be anything that is paintable, e.g. marine ply. The painting is not required as part of the job. We want an inexpensive but weatherproof solution for this wall. Hot water tank seems to be leaking from the bottom, model GA150M. Gas heated. I think I have turned off the water and gas. Would the heater need replacing as it is only 10 - 12 years old and looks in good nick? Waikanae area. Who would I look at getting in? Any other help appreciated. Cost of repair? Water affected ceiling

My ceiling in my dining room has been affected by a leaking pipe in the roof. I am unsure as to whether I should put in a false ceiling slightly lower than what is already there or if it can be gibbed and plastered. The house is about 90 years old with lathe and plaster walls and the ceiling has paper on it. The water leak has caused the paper on the ceiling to peel off in spots and it has the look of dirty water stains. It will also need to be repainted.
