Our kitchen is old ugly and 1970s embarrassing BTW but we will get there and renovate that when other rooms are finished, but for now our water tastes gross and need this filter on in the meantime. 1950's weatherboard home, bay window put in by previous owners, botched job basically. Flat type roof on it so leakes, alu joinery and now the sill is all swollen, needs all replacing. Property is rented and I need to know what I can do to remedy (think extension of roof to do properly and would like to have wooden joinery put back in if possible.
