About
My names is Nicolas Piveteau, a french artisan stonemason living and working in New Zealand.
I began an apprenticeship at age 15 and 17 enrolled with the Compagnon du Devoir, the French craftsmen and artisan training organisation dating back to the middle ages.
Training with the Compagnon required a commitment of 9 years during which I travelled throughout France learning about many different styles, methods and materials.
In 2011 I made New Zealand my home with my kiwi wife,Angela .
My company, Le Maçon&Co,is committed to offering exceptional masonry works anywhere in New Zealand, from fine contemporary concrete to restoration of important historic stonework
