Project

Preston House

Project description

Residential - Alteration and Addition

A tired and poorly insulated 1930's Californian bungalow needed to be reworked for a family of 4 that reconnect them with their garden and accomodate a large social gathering in an instant. Through working with our clients, we were able to resolve spatial issues with their current home and provide unexpected connections to the outside.

The new extension components of this house have been seamlessly added to the existing with the use of prefabricated structural insulated panels, reducing construction time by months as well as wastage on site.

The result is a warm and open home that is welcoming and spatially efficient.
