Turning a New Build Into a Finished Outdoor Space

We recently completed a new build landscaping project for Matt and his family in Leeston, Selwyn.

Matt got in touch with us by text as he was getting excited about moving into his newly built home. One of his main priorities was having the landscaping completed before they moved in, so the property would feel finished and ready to enjoy from the moment they arrived.

Matt already had a good idea of how he wanted his outdoor space to look. He had his own vision for the garden layout, planting, lawn and overall finish, and our job was to take that idea and turn it into reality.

The Landscaping Work

The project involved landscaping around the property to create a clean, practical and welcoming outdoor space.

We focused on getting the different elements to work together rather than treating each area as a separate job. The timber edging helped define the garden spaces, while the planting and decorative stone added structure and character. The new ready lawn then brought everything together and gave the property an immediate finished look.

From Vision to Reality

One of the best parts of working on a new build is seeing the transformation from a mostly blank section into a finished landscape.

Matt had already imagined what he wanted his landscaping to look like, and throughout the project we worked to make sure the finished result reflected that vision while also making the outdoor areas practical and easy to enjoy.

Once the lawn, planting, stonework, edging and fencing were all completed, the difference was significant. The new landscape gave the home a much more finished appearance and created an outdoor space ready for the family to enjoy.

Matt was very happy with the transformation, and it was great to see his reaction when he saw the completed landscaping.
