Wallpaper Installation & Feature Wall – Ponsonby

Project Overview
We recently completed a meticulous interior fit-out for a high-end property in Ponsonby. The brief required master-level decorating precision: installing an iconic, dense-pattern cloud wallpaper across both the walls and the ceiling, seamlessly integrating with ornate character cornices and a striking marble fireplace feature wall.

What We Did:
Complex Wall-to-Ceiling Pattern Matching: Hung premium wallpaper (Cole & Son Nuvolette) continuously from the walls right up across the ceiling. This required absolute precision to ensure the intricate cloud pattern matched flawlessly at every seam and corner angle.

Ornate Cornice & Trim Integration: Carefully hand-cut and tucked the wallpaper around intricate, traditional dental plaster cornices, deep skirtings, window architraves, and custom plantation shutters for a flawless, paint-like finish.

Flawless Cut-outs: Executed perfect, clean cuts around pre-installed fixtures, including ducted air conditioning vents, power outlets, and light switches, ensuring zero fraying or gaps.

Premium Substrate Preparation: Prepped and sealed the walls and ceiling to a Level 5 finish before hanging to ensure a perfectly smooth application with no bubbles or imperfections.

The Result: A breathtaking, seamless "fifth wall" cloud effect that transforms the room into a luxury, boutique space—completed to the highest architectural standards.
