Courtyard Transformation & Custom Water Feature / Planter Bed – Muriwai

We recently completed a premium courtyard transformation at a stunning property in Muriwai. The client wanted a modern, high-end outdoor living space that seamlessly integrated architectural drainage, custom masonry, and intricate paving details to withstand the coastal elements while looking spectacular year-round.

Key Features & Work Completed:
Precision Large-Format Tiling: Laid high-quality, large-format outdoor tiles with precise grout lines and integrated expansion joints, creating a sleek, expansive, and durable surface.

Custom Pebble Mosaic Inlays: Hand-laid river pebble borders and decorative geometric inserts to break up the tiling, adding a beautiful natural texture and architectural interest to the space.

Bespoke Central Planter / Water Feature: Constructed a raised central feature bed lined with matching custom-mitered tile capping. Integrated dedicated conduit/plumbing lines (visible in photos) to future-proof the space for lighting, automated irrigation, or a water feature setup.

Advanced Drainage Solution: Installed a flush, heavy-duty channel grate drainage system surrounding the central feature. This ensures rapid water runoff during heavy Muriwai downpours, keeping the courtyard safe, slip-resistant, and puddle-free.

Flawless Finish: Every corner, mitered edge, and level transition was executed to the highest trade standards, perfectly complementing the modern aesthetic of the home.
