Preparation stage- garage door is scraped to further expose -white rust (a common type of rust that occurs in both zinc metal and galvanized metal)

Then a rust treatment neutralizer product is applied which begins as a white clear liquid before the drying process is finished. Once dry the liquid turns black. This indicates that the rust treatment has neutralized the rust effected areas.

At this point it's suitable that a specified metal primer is applied to the garage door surface and followed by 2x top coats of specified top coat paint.
