Another challenging project successfully completed by the CCS team on this tight-access site on Uplands Road, Remuera.
This home and pool had been experiencing ongoing movement for some time, with the recent cyclones significantly accelerating the settlement and creating the need for urgent foundation strengthening works.
Working within extremely limited access conditions, the team delivered a complex engineered solution incorporating a combination of palisade cage piles, SED piles, and reinforced caged/timber piles installed to depths of up to 7.2 metres to achieve suitable bearing.
Projects like this are never straightforward, but challenging ground conditions and difficult access are exactly where the CCS team thrives. Through careful planning, collaboration, and a huge amount of hard work onsite, the team was able to safely complete the strengthening works and stabilise the structure for the owners moving forward.
