Relocated Villa Renovation & Extension – Rosser Road
This unique project involved a 100+ year old villa relocated from the Manawatū, which arrived on site in two halves after being transported by house movers.
Plans were developed to separate the two halves and construct a new extension between them, creating additional living space while tying the original structure together.
Working with a relocated character home presented several challenges. With the house being over a century old, and after relocation, very little was plumb, level, or straight. Our team carefully worked through these complexities to align the structure and integrate the new build seamlessly with the existing home.
The result is a thoughtfully expanded home that retains the charm of the original villa while providing a practical, modern layout.
