re sanded and finished the beautiful Matai floors and fully repainted the whole interior

Two new bathrooms including replacing the existing while adding a new toilet and a brand new ensuite

the floors and fresh paint gave the house much more light.

brand new laundry to loads of new storage. Originally the laundry was only assessed from the outside

New storage installed into an existing bedroom. this room was also extensively soundproofed

revamped main bedroom. an original bedroom was canabalised to create a new walk in wardrobe and ensuite.

New ensuite. we designed this to work withing the existing foot print and untilise the existing exterior windows.

A spare room was created during the renovation with its own exterior door. perfect for visitors.

in 2024, Jambuilt Construction completed a transformative renovation on a mid century home built in 1957. The interior of the house remained largely untouched since its construction, giving us a unique opportunity to modernise the space while preserving its charm. The project began with a full renovation of the main bathroom, where we added a second toilet to enhance functionality for the family. We then converted the existing laundry into a practical mudroom, complete with its own toilet, adding both convenience and flow to the home’s layout.

To elevate the main bedroom, we created a new walk-in wardrobe and a modern ensuite, turning the space into a comfortable and private retreat. All bedrooms were relined and fully insulated to improve warmth and energy efficiency, ensuring the home is more comfortable year-round. Throughout the house, the original Matai floors were carefully refinished, restoring their natural beauty and timeless appeal.

A major highlight of the renovation was the installation of a large two-door stacker slider in the north-facing lounge. This not only flooded the living area with natural light but also created a seamless connection to the outdoors, enhancing both lifestyle and value. The result is a beautifully upgraded home ready for modern living.
