this is what i started with

Trial of the slab sitting on the base

Base with a 50% gloss clearcoat

designed and steel laser cut to cantilever the slab over the base

Softened this face to take away the harshness of where it was milled but still keeping as much of its original size

Project description

Customer supplied the pieces of wood and asked me to transform them into a coffee table
