RANGIORA AVE
A bespoke split level three story architectural house encompassing engineered ply braced walls and steel portal frames. Essen engineering undertook detailed design of the specific elements including foundations, retaining walls, lateral bracing, steel frames and steel rod balustrades.

HOUSE 1,2 & 3 KAPITI COAST
A residential development in Kapiti Coast consisting of three standalone timber framed houses. Essen Engineering undertook the detailed design and construction supervision of the structural aspects of the building.

VIEW ROAD
A three-story hybrid concrete shear wall and steel portal frame structure. The client brief required a slender box structure with concrete insulated panels where all steel elements were hidden from view. Essen Engineering undertook the detailed design of the structure. The building is currently in construction stage.

NAVIGATION DRIVE
A passive hybrid timber/ steel frame house on masonry shear walls. The aesthetics required a significant cantilever which was achieved structurally using steel beams, cross braces and steel struts.
