SACRED HEART COLLEGE
The Sacred Heart College (SHC) Community Hub stands as a remarkable project, embodying principles of sustainability through its innovative design and use of mass timber construction. With a footprint spanning two stories and a generous gross floor area of 1200m2, the building predominantly features braced LVL timber structural frames. Essen Engineering was engaged as structural engineers to the project where our role involved provide structural design, documentation, and construction monitoring services.

TE KURA KAUPAPA MAORI O TE RITO
Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Rito features a state-of-the-art classroom design, incorporating timber portal frames for both functionality and aesthetic appeal. The exterior deck design seamlessly integrates with the open plan layout, creating a versatile and multi-use space for various activities. Essen Engineering carried out detailed structural design of the building.
