Bespoke Record Player Builtin Unit
Project description
We collaborated with the clients to design, fabricate, and install a one-off custom unit for their record player setup.
Every measurement was carefully considered to ensure their vinyl collection would slide effortlessly into the built-in compartments, while the overall design maintained cohesion with the home’s existing architectural details.
With tricky access via a private cable car, the piece was engineered to be delivered in modular sections. It slotted together seamlessly on-site using concealed Lamello Clamex and Tenso connectors, ensuring a rock-solid, clean finish without visible fixings.
Construction Details:
* 18mm European Birch plywood, custom-stained with matching edge detail
* Lamello Clamex & Tenso hardware for tool-free, hidden joinery
* Finished with Resene Aquaclear Satin (water-based polyurethane)
