Karori Extension and Restoration

Project description

This house had been abandoned for 25 years when we arrived on site. We tore down the existing lean to and got to work. A 100m2 extension was added on the back, all kept in period style. We redid all decorative timber elements including gable scalloped features, corbel blocks, finials window fret work. We added these features to all the new parts of the house too. We managed to save the existing double hung windows and double glazed them on site. We then gave the interior and complete work over, including rearranging walls to achieve the most functional layout possible.
