Project description

Client wanted to restore timber treads back to native timber, add a screen and handrail to the stairs, and finish the underside of the stairs with a bookshelf.
The bookshelves were custom made along with the handrail, the timber used was Beech hardwood for the battens and handrail, which the battens were painted and handrail was clear sealed.
The original risers were plywood so i sourced Rimu veneers to keep the treads and risers the same.
The finished result was fantastic both myself and the client were very happy
