Project

Electrical Work and Testing

Project description

What people don’t realise is….most of us are now living in houses over 30 years old….

And Electrical TPS cables only have a lifespan of 50 years.

And that fuse board on the wall, although it’s still working, it does not provide any form of shock and short circuit protection according to current standards.

It’s almost essential now to make sure everything is still safe, tested and fit for purpose….

And your smoke alarm is only there to tell you and others there’s a fire, but not there to prevent it.

Because the worst case scenario for anyone would be to return home, finding their house has burnt to the ground and all the valuable and memories were gone with it.

Always, and always use a EWRB Qualified and Registered Electrician to perform any Prescribed Electrical Work for you.

Note:

If your current Sparky / Electrician / Handyman…..

- Does not have a current EWRB Number.
- Does not appear on the EWRB register.
- Does not know, does not care, or cannot work to the standards of AS/NZS 3000 : 2007
- Cannot issue you with an NZ Electrical CoC / ESC for any work done.

He / She should not be legally performing any electrical tasks for you, and you’ll run into the full risk of not able to claim insurance shall there be any damage(S) caused by the trades person.
