With out a number of site inspections and raising of issues by myself I believe the project would have taken longer and been of a lessor quality. Council signed off CCC OK. The agreed price was kept to even though it took much longer to complete and the weather was not good.

Timber door and window repair/replacement

Initially James was very responsive, however once the work was started communication was terrible. Multiple times we brought this up and requested simply to be informed on when people were coming and still left in the dark as to when workers were expected. Tradespeople were friendly however left things unfinished and made a mess of epoxy all over our floor and walls where the work was done. When mentioned to James he did nothing so we decided to finish the work ourselves. Not recommended.

Weatherboard repairs to 1950's house

James and his team were good to deal with and did a great job of the weatherboard replacement scope. The other part of the job was for repair to some timber wonder frames. Unfortunately there was not a lot of care taken around this work and I had to ask for several return visits to get it up to an acceptable standard. When it came to painting the windows we found there was still a lot of rot in the areas adjacent to the repairs which we had to spend time removing.
