Travis Downes Builders is a small, hands-on building company based in Thames, New Zealand, known for quality workmanship and genuine local service.

Founded by Travis Downes, the business specialises in kitchen-bathroom renovations, extensions, decks and outdoor living spaces across the Coromandel and Hauraki regions.​

With over 14 years of industry experience, Travis began his career in 2012, starting out in roofing before moving into building full-time in 2015. After gaining experience working with others, he started his own company with a focus on attention to detail, friendly communication, and doing the job right the first time.

Clients appreciate the trustworthy, family-oriented approach and the quality finish that comes from a builder who’s personally involved every step of the way. When he’s not on-site, Travis enjoys spending time with family, fishing, and hunting around the Coromandel — keeping him connected to the community he builds for.
