I highly recommend Simon for any electrical work. I’ve had a significant amount of work completed around my house and have been extremely happy with both the quality of his workmanship and the overall service. The work included a Wiser upgrade, interior and exterior lighting, wiring my garage for downlights and power points, a upgrade of my switchboard, and replacing all of the wall sockets and light switches throughout the house. The quality of the work was excellent, and I really appreciated Simon’s help and advice with lighting placement and getting everything set up to work well within the house. Communication was also great, with prompt replies to quotes and any questions along the way. Simon was also very accommodating when changes were required, always willing to adjust things to suit my requirements and budget. Another big positive was that Simon always turned up on time and did exactly what he says he will. It’s been great dealing with someone who takes pride in his work, provides good advice, and genuinely wants to achieve a good result for the customer. I recently had Simon from Voltix out to look at a few things we're planning around our place, and what really stood out was how practical he is and how much knowledge he brings to the table. We've got a small, old 1940s house with plenty of quirks, and I initially thought we'd mainly be talking about the electrical side of things. But Simon brought a much wider view to it. He's obviously extremely knowledgeable when it comes to electrical, but also has a really solid understanding of lighting, design, automation and how you actually make these things work in the real world. He came up with several creative ideas for improving our outdoor living spaces with better lighting design, and suggested a few ways we could add value that I hadn't even considered. I'd have no hesitation recommending Simon to anyone renovating, building, looking at landscape lighting or automation, or just wanting a good electrician who can think a bit bigger than the job in front of them.
