I’m Nick and I have worked as a builder for 14 years all around Auckland.
Im a Qualified carpenter and a licensed building practitioner.

My company is Sure Thing Construction.
Sure Thing specializes in residential renovations/alterations, bathrooms, joinery install, decks, fencing, retaining walls all the way down to home handyman repairs and maintenance.

I am punctual , knowledgeable and hard working.
I pride myself on my workmanship , clear communication and fair pricing.

Sheltered area under deck

Installed roofing sheets with fall under deck area to create a sheltered space plus gutter install

Renovation to kids rooms

Replaced gib walls and insulated, added new timber trims and dado line separating the two colours plus shelving. Organized painter/plasterer.

New front fence and electronic sliding gate

New front fence in 90mmx18mm pine on the rake. New Side fence in standard rough sawn. Worked in with gate installer to line over top of Aluminium frame electronic sliding gate to have the same continuous run of palings. I dug out, boxes and poured a concrete strip for the gate to slide onto also.

Kitchen , Dining and lounge renovation

Sure Thing Demo’d old kitchen, reduced and increased a few internal walls to create a bigger kitchen space. Re lined gib walls plus timber trims and decorative ply. Applied a moisture barrier to concrete slab then laid lovely engineered flooring throughout. Organized and over saw subcontractors , electrician , plumber, plasterer, painter and kitchen installers
