Kia ora! I'm Yusuf, the owner and hands-on tradesman behind Capital Handyman. Based in Paparangi, I work across Wellington, including Newlands, Johnsonville, Tawa and Lower Hutt.
I take on a wide range of jobs, big or small: carpentry, doors and locks, wardrobes, flooring, fencing, roofing repairs, glazing, concrete work and general home repairs. Because I work across many trades, you get one person who can handle the whole job.

Repair sliding door

Job was to help me re-hang a *very heavy* sliding door between our kitchen and living room. Yusuf was professional in shifting our furniture to get the door down (we're too old to handle the weight of the door), and shifted the furniture back into place after getting the door down. Yusuf undertook to find new wheels for mounting the door on. This was unsuccessful, so we agreed to terminate the contract at that point, at a mutually agreed price. Very happy with Yusuf's help.
