Light Bathroom Renovation – Richmond, Tasman

This project focused on freshening up the bathroom with a modern touch, all while staying within a budget. We completed a full repaint, installed a high-spec vanity, and added a stylish ring light mirror for a sleek and updated look. The vinyl flooring was also repaired to enhance the overall finish. The result is a revitalized, functional, and contemporary bathroom that feels fresh and inviting.

Architectural Fence Build – Richmond, Tasman

This modern fence project features 1.2m high and 30m long architectural fencing, constructed using 50x50mm kiln-dried treated batons. The design, complete with custom steel gates, was crafted to bring a contemporary feel to the property, seamlessly blending style with functionality. The clean lines of the batons, paired with the sleek gates, create a sophisticated yet durable addition that enhances the home's overall aesthetic.

Kitchen Renovation – Tahunanui, Nelson

This project involved the transformation of an old kitchen into a modern, simple space tailored to the client's specifications. Working with our partners at Orange Joinery, we installed custom cabinetry designed to maximize cooking space while maintaining the original kitchen footprint. The clean lines and sleek finishes brought a fresh, modern style to the home. With a focus on quick turnaround times, we ensured the kitchen was fully operational in no time, delivering both function and modern flair.

Residential Bedroom Wall and Ceiling Re-lining

The house had previously had sub-floor flood debris removed and I was interested to see if the wall interior framing had been affected (it hadn't) as well as replacing 70+ year old linings. Both the wall interiors and the keen and professional way that this company undertook the work were pleasant surprises. It really was a great relief to have such a good team on site, highly professional, competent, energetic & well organised. Many thanks!

We have had Big Rock do 2 urgent jobs recently on our house. They agreed to each job without a fuss & got onto the job very quickly & finished each job in a very short time. The workmanship & finish was more than we expected. We can highly recommend Aston & the boys to anyone.

We were recently lucky to have Aston and Sam upgrade our bathroom. Astons quote was delivered promptly and the timeline was followed to the letter, his organisational skills and communicaton was wonderful. The boys were professional and worked diligently, also friendly and respectful of our home and space. The subcontractors were all professional, respectful and turned up when they said they would. Aston and Sam have a very high standard and work ethic, would highly recommend Big Rock Construction. Lynda.

We had some glass balustrades installed on our deck for toddler proofing & just in time for Christmas. They look so good, perfectly aligned! I couldn’t recommend Aston & his team more. We went through a couple of different options, excellent & clear communication with great pricing options. Thank you so much, we’ve been able to enjoy the space as a family. Will definitely use Big Rock Construction for future projects.
