About

I have been painting and decorating for over five years. I am fully qualified in painting and wallpaper hanging, with experience in specialized coatings. I can do gib repairs and plastering as well. I do interior and exterior, as well as spray painting, staining and oiling.
The ‘other’ in furniture is for flat pack assembly. I can bring your flat pack order to wherever it’s going, assemble it, and take away the packaging.
I can see a job and quote it for you. Otherwise my hourly rate is $55/hr + GST.

How I got on the roof

Repaint roof of a two story building

The roof was a steep pitch and would be very costly to scaffold all the way around. I used a mobile scaffold to get to the top and placed some temporary roof anchors with a static line between them. From there I was able to safely replace any damaged nails with screws, mask up the chimneys and skylights, and spray paint each side of the pitched roof. When I was done with an area, I moved the roof anchors one by one to the new area, replaced the screws and used a can of spray paint that was the same colour to protect the new screws.

The bedrooms and kitchen in this house had wallpaper, which owners wanted me to remove and pant the walls. The bedrooms had 2-3 layers of wallpaper and I couldn’t remove all of it without damaging the walls themselves. So I skimmed some areas with plaster to get it as smooth as possible. Then sealed the area, applied undercoat and two top coats

The house had never been painted because it was coloured sand, which kept it looking good for decades. But as it aged it needed repairs and a repaint. I hired a knuckle boom to get the second story areas. I repaired any deep cracks and applied a coat of concrete primer. Two colour coats after that made it look brand new and will keep it protected for years to come
