Hi , I have a certificate in design and have been utilising my skills as an interior decorator, helping transform client's homes within Cambridge, my home town , and Hamilton for the last 5 years. My skills include colour consultation, interior and exterior painting, making and altering curtains and blinds, and wallpapering. I specialise in smaller jobs, but have also been employed for larger jobs, painting the whole interior of clients' houses, and painting complete exterior house weatherboards. I have an affordable hourly rate, and am not GST registered, so can help my clients save costs. I also help clients save costs by sourcing the most cost-effective exterior elevation systems, utilising scissor lists and using extendable ladders when exterior painting. I can help make your interior surfaces as smooth as possible, jibbing and filling where needed , pre-painting.
I am an experienced seamstress and have an industrial sewing machine, including a blind hemmer, to alter and blind-hem curtains. I can make Roman blinds from scratch, if you have a particular fabric in mind, or I can alter existing ones, and help you source blinds from retail suppliers.
