Having contacted Tom for a building inspection,he duly obliged professionally within our required timeline. Which is what you would expect - however, it's been the aftercare that's impressed. The report required follow up from us, and Tom was available 24/7 for that and then some - culminating in an in person visit on a Sunday. We had a building inspection done. We later on found our subfloor insulation was falling on the ground. We got someone to check our insulation. We found that our roof space insulation was poorly installed as well as subfloor. Disappointed that this was not picked up in the builders inspection and he also noted in our report that insulation was well maintained and installed when in fact it wasn’t. Reply: Dear Sueala, Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. I understand your concerns about the insulation issues you've discovered. At the time of our inspection, we documented the condition of both the subfloor and roof space insulation, including photographs. Our records show that the insulation was properly installed and in good condition on the day of inspection. We understand there was ongoing construction work at the property during this period. It's possible that subsequent trade work may have impacted the insulation's positioning after our inspection was completed. To help us better understand the situation, we would appreciate if you could forward us a copy of the recent insulation assessment report. This will allow us to review the specific concerns identified and determine what changes may have occurred since our inspection.
