We went with Ruahine Property Works for a large home renovation project. We found the experience really easy with them, friendly and reliable, very knowledgeable too, came up with great solutions for some of the tricky aspects of our reno and we were very pleased with the quality of the work done. The two carpenters who installed a Trade tested awning did a very good job and were a pleasure to deal with. However the invoice was very poor on itemising the costs. Its seems that travel time was charged out at the working hourly rate and what was charged out in total time seemed excessive considering the time to do the job. I did query the invoice but was informed that it was correct. As it was only a small job I did not ask for a quote but will do next time. Reply: Thanks for your feedback Jim. We wanted to complete your job prior to Christmas so you could enjoy your outdoor area. As you pointed out when you contacted us, we have undercharged you for materials used. Our labour rates include the travel time to and from your site as we discussed. We are pleased you are happy with our teams workmanship. Have a great rest of the festive season.
