I'm extremely disappointed with this company. I posted a job on Builders Crack for refitting a bi-fold pantry door, which Ruahine Works Property Services accepted to quote. All the hardware was present, except for one missing part. They asked for the address and then showed up a week later without notice. The gentleman provided a quote and left. Later, I received an email with an estimate of $700. I was astonished. I sought a second opinion and was told that all I needed was a $25 pivot that could be easily installed into the existing hole, which a competent builder would have noticed. I had mentioned that I was willing to pay extra due to the lack of interest in the job, but being taken advantage of was unacceptable. When I raised this on Builders Crack, Anna responded dismissively and closed the job which proves the unprofessional and how dishonest this company is. Reply: Hi Moshin. It has been a very good experience dealing with this company. I had my overgrown yard cleared with a great result. In the process of renovating my home I also used them to re-gib and sand some of my walls to a paint finish, replace damaged ceilings and apply new skirting boards. The job was done to an excellent standard and the wall finish excellent. The guys were all hard-working, reliable and friendly while on the job.
