Don't even think about calling this company if you need work done. We have storm damage to the house and animal housing. These are emergency works They have been stringing us along promising to come out to do a quote for the insurance company for over a week. First they said Friday, then promised Monday, then Tuesday, now it's Wednesday. On being asked how long it will be until they can actually do the work - given the broken window, stock everywhere, shattered guttering , roof damage etc. - response was that it would be delayed for ages because of the insurance company. And the reason given for a week's delay on the quote - we're 20 minutes outside town and it's not convenient. Phoned another local company - they were here within an hour given the circumstances and extremely polite and helpful. Reply: Thank you for your feedback. Your first enquiry came to us 4 working days ago. We were aiming to be at your property today but as explained to you on the phone have been held up unexpectedly. We have lined up other jobs in your area for viewing tomorrow but obviously you feel this isn’t good enough. We try very hard to visit clients within the shortest possible time frames. Given that you are quick to be rude on the phone and quick to be a keyboard warrior, without even meeting us,I suggest other tradespeople also be careful about engaging with you.

We are very happy with the job we hired Ruahine Property Works Limited to do for us. Great Communication thru out the process keeping us updated and letting us know how things were tracking, especially while we waited for the new French door to be made. The staff are amazing, and clean up to a very high standard when they have finished. Will definitely be using them for future work. Ruahine quoted promptly and understood when it took us a while to decide on how to deal with the job (repairs to an investment property). When we decided, they were prompt and efficient and their guy was great. Outgoing and professional and did an excellent job. We had to ask them to do another small task in addition to the main job, which was done quickly and professionally. We will use Ruahine again.
