Filling and compacting pool

Work completed to a good standard but was not to the plan and quote agreed. Final invoice arrived with $2k increase to cover additional dumping fees and cartage which could have been avoided at the time if this had been communicated. We had agreed in the plan to keep it, and there is a disagreement about if we asked for it to be dumped after this point. There was no option of meeting each other part way on the cost. We were told that if we disputed it, that the invoice could increase.
