In short: we've engaged Sean on two separate occasions and we couldn't be happier! We'll contract Sean for all our future tiling needs and highly recommend him to others. Job 1 - 2020: Bathroom floor, enclosed shower (smoke grey double herring bone design), toilet floor and laundry floor. Job 2 - 2021: a) Main bathroom and Ensuite: floor to ceiling tiles, 3m studs, niches, hobs, and underfloor heating. Floor tiles, standard. Wall tiles included standard and hexagon feature strip. b) Laundry cupboard/nook: floor to ceiling tiles. c) Kitchen nook backsplash (ice blue double herring bone design). So happy he convinced me to do underfloor heating! We use it ALL the time. This is the experience you need when doing something for the first time. We are a few years on now, and we couldn't be happier with how everything is holding up. From initial quote, right through to finished products Sean was awesome to work with. Took time to understand my vision, then consulted on some of the challenges we would face along the way, was clear about what and when he needed things by (e.g. plumbing, straight floor/wall lines, niche styles and grout thickness/colour), and allowed me to make the final decisions. Sean was always on time, super professional, and kept me in the loop throughout the whole process. I really appreciated his 'no surprises' mindset, raising concerns early if something happened out of his control. The quality of his work is top-notch, and my spaces still look incredible today. “Sean from Genius tile was awesome to work with. We had a number of delays due the delivery person dropping and breaking all our tiles off the back of the truck. Sean was patient when he needed to come back as we slowly received replacement tiles. His work was good. And it was appreciated when he checked with us before starting on something to make sure we were all on the same page. Would highly recommend.” Reply: Thanks a lot!
