We've contacted Brock from Faultless Electrical a couple of times for smaller jobs, and they couldn't have been more accommodating. On every occasion we were thoroughly impressed not only with their communication, but also that they arrived when they said they would, carried out the work efficiently, were extremely tidy and did so in a very professional manner. RESPONSE TO BROCK - OWNER Your comment is written to make yourself look professional and paint me as unreasonable, which is false. In reality, you created the conflict by ignoring my instructions, rushing the job, and repeatedly deflecting responsibility instead of taking ownership. The towel rail was not resolved immediately. Despite being only a few metres away, you installed it in the wrong location, where I explicitly told you it should not be. You refused to explain why and repeatedly told me to “lower my voice,” deflecting responsibility instead of addressing the problem. I had to coordinate all remedial work myself, including getting quotes, arranging trades, and following up repeatedly to ensure costs were covered. Full resolution required multiple follow-ups. Never once did you apologise, verbally or in writing, as documented in my 22/9 email (now uploaded). That email also details your repeated unprofessional conduct in front of apprentices, your deliberate avoidance of accountability, and the unnecessary stress and wasted time caused by your failures. Your comment is a deliberate attempt to rewrite history and present yourself as professional, but the documented facts clearly contradict your version. ORIGINAL POST What a nightmare. Brock installed the heated towel rail exactly where I had explicitly said I did not want it, while I was in the kitchen only two metres away, simply to avoid a nog. Reinstalling it where it was supposed to go left holes in my wall — a wall I had spent the weekend preparing — and now remedial plastering and painting have to be done around the heated towel rail. Brock has never provided a verbal or written apology, and when I asked why it was installed incorrectly, I was told to “lower my voice.” All the time, effort, and organisation to fix this has fallen on me, and I still can’t use the heated towel rail until the remedial work is done. As a pensioner and a woman, the way I was treated was particularly disappointing and concerning. This review is a factual account of my experience. It is disappointing and says a lot about a business that will treat a customer like this. Not every experience is a dream experience, as other reviews reflect, and that is why I have taken the time to write this. As soon as you raised your concern, we remained on site and relocated the heated towel rail. We also offered to cover all remedial plastering and painting and offered for our usual trusted tradespeople to assist. You preferred to use your own, which we respected, and confirmed we would reimburse those costs. While you were understandably frustrated and raised your voice, we chose not to engage in conflict and instead focused on resolving the problem respectfully and promptly. We’re human — and on the rare occasion something isn’t quite right, our priority is always to take ownership and fix it. That’s what we did here, and we stand by that response.
Our first interaction with Brock was when we lost power to half the house, he came out at short notice, got us going, didn’t even charge so when we did our Kitchen remodelling last year we got them in again; great work, good communication - moving forwards we decided to redo all the lighting throughout the house modernising and increasing the lighting - again awesome service and would def recommend. Could not fault them. Phoned up Friday morning and Brock was around later that morning. Explained what was wrong and what was needed to fix .y issue and got it done. Having previously used Faultless Electrical Ltd we were once again really happy with the work completed by them...we had a new heatpump installed and the electrical feed to the garage and sleepout was upgraded. Both jobs were completed in a timely manner, to a high standard and within budget. Both Brock and Dan were lovely to deal with and communication was excellent.
