We recently completed a comprehensive backyard transformation that involved correcting a heavily leaning boundary fence, extending it for added privacy, and completely rebuilding the adjacent raised garden beds. The original fence was severely out of alignment, leaning under pressure, and structurally compromised due to invasive, mature tree roots beneath the surface. Our team took this project from a cluttered, structurally failing space to a beautifully finished, modern, and straight garden boundary.

We took this space from a buried jungle to a crisp, professional finish! 🪵➡️🌱 Here is how we brought this vision to life: 🍂 Stage 1: The Great Clean-Up We started by tackling the massive buildup of piled-up rubbish, thick debris, and years of leaf litter to finally uncover the true boundary line and see what we were working with. 🔎 🔩 Stage 2: Structural Reinforcement & Rebuilding To do it right, you have to fix the foundation. Fence Rescue: We pulled out heavy tree stumps that were actively warping and pushing against the fence line. Added Strength: We stabilized the existing structure using concrete waratahs for maximum strength. This crucial step ensures the fence can easily support the weight of the brand-new trellis extensions added on top for premium privacy! 🛡️ Garden Bed Overhaul: The old, cramped garden bed was dismantled and pulled back to open up more ground space. In the gap, we engineered a brand-new garden bed using robust 100x100 posts anchored in solid concrete. Nutrient Boost: To top it off, we laid down a rich 200mm layer of fresh garden soil to give the new plants the perfect environment to thrive. 🌿 🖌️ Final Stage: The Professional Polish To tie the entire project together, the fence, new trellises, and garden boundaries were treated to a fresh coat of paint. 🧱 From Chimney to Exterior Wall: The Art of the Perfect Match 🧱

We recently took on this unique project using recycled bricks carefully salvaged and cleaned from an old chimney and fireplace. To ensure the new section didn't look "too fresh" against the rest of the house, we paid attention to the finest details: 🎨 The Mortar: Slightly altered the tint to perfectly match the existing mortar, which started white but naturally grayed over the years. 📐 The Finish: Raked and flat-tool jointed the brick mortar joints to flawlessly replicate the original pointing. What a great experience we had with Hana and the team at SS Solutions. We hired SS Solutions to tidy up a big mess some builders had made. They smashed it all out in one day. What i really liked though was dealing with Hana (one of the company owners). Her communication was great. The job was completed on time, on budget, by friendly, well-presented staff. Honestly they were fantastic.
