COVID 19 - Health and Safety requirements
The Covid 19 pandemic has changed the way the plastering industry will operate. At SPS, we take this seriously and are committed to providing a safe work environment not only for our clients, but for our staff as well.
While NZ is under Alert Level 3, we will implement contactless engagement with our customers.
In order to maintain contactless engagement, we will utilize the following:
• Phone calls to discuss jobs
• Photos, video calls to visualise what’s involved and provide a quote
• Progress calls at the end of each day
• Invoices will be emailed at the completion of each job
Physical distancing on site:
If the job is your place of residence, to ensure your Home Bubble remains intact, we would like the work area to be isolated and have uninterrupted access throughout the day.
If the job is a building site, then in order to complete the work safely, efficiently and on time (which ultimately keeps the costs down for you), we would prefer to start once the whole job is ready.
Hygiene:
To provide a safe clean work environment, we will adhere to the following government guidelines
• All SPS workers will wear face masks
• Hand sanitiser will be used regularly
• At the end of each day all surfaces e.g tables, door/window handles, window sills will be wiped down with disinfectant wipes
• Anyone at SPS displaying any flu like symptoms will not be on site
• Keeping a log book to record close contacts
