Odd building jobs in Penrose and Onehunga
Other (Building) Penrose, Auckland

This job did not go well for me. Dan did not complete the job or return any of my calls or emails. I eventually found a reliable builder to finish the job, so a three week job ended up taking 3 and a half months. Dan was pretty good at taking progress payments, but not doing the work. So I had a very bad experience with this contractor.

Rental property repairs/prep
Other (Building) Mount Wellington, Auckland

Daniel's work was of a high standard and the job was completed quickly. After the initial consultation he was able to make suggestions and improvements based upon my initial plan. He even went above and beyond the parameters of the job and offered advice and assistance getting a better deal on a new kitchen (as well as other materials required) - to the point of meeting me at the kitchen retailer to arrange the discount. Highly recommended!

Sleepout Rebuild
Home Extensions & Alterations Otara, Manukau
3.0

Incomplete quotation given. Unfortunately the quotation I was given contained only the total payment charged for the work plus GST, followed by a space to sign acceptance and a request for a deposit upon acceptance. I needed a breakdown of costs, a product list, any exclusions and the conditions under which the work would be undertaken before acceptance/payment, just so we both would be fully aware of our obligations when we moved forward. Sorry this didn't work out, but wish Danny well.

Responsive to request for a quote. No contact since site visit, no quote and discontinued contact through the site. Interestingly this was on the same day when he "finished" a job at one of my neighbour's homes. This was of extremely poor quality, overcharged and without using products for which he had quoted them. He has since promised to return on the day he starts my job, which he has neither quoted for, nor been awarded. DO NOT EMPLOY. A COWBOY IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD.
