Hi there, we've recently experienced water ingress and hydrostatic pressure buildup behind our basement wall, and I'm looking to address this with external tanking. The wall is approximately 1.5 metres high and about 2.5 metres long, and is relatively accessible (photo attached). The area to be tanked is between the foundation pillar and the wall at the rear (I've also attached a photo of the room on the other side). The work most likely requires: - Trenching: Excavate behind the small concrete wall either manually or using a mechanical trencher. - Tanking: Apply a suitable external tanking membrane to prevent future water ingress. - Drain Installation: Install a short field drain (approximately 5 metres) as a secondary drainage option, which will exit into a less cruicial area of the basement with drainage to outside. - Backfilling: Refill the trench with appropriate material, such as metal aggregate, and dispose of the clay spill over a nearby fence onsite. Please let me know if you need additional information or have any questions about the job specifications. Thank you.
