Leaky bathroom ceiling

I have just noticed a leak in my bathroom ceiling - paint is peeling off and it is damp. There is a water ring now.The leak is above the shower in the corner of a room next to the outside wall. It does not appear to have affected the room on the other side. It has appeared since all the heavy rain - it maybe the roof? This is tiled. There is wood under the guttering and then the wall is cedar shingle tiles.
