Fix leaks in conservatory roof

Some leaks are coming through to the inside from the roof of the conservatory. I am unsure as to what the right solution is to fix this issue. A handyman has suggested replacing the seals on the roof with silicone and weather proof tape however I need an experienced person to give me a proper solution that will fix the problem permanently. There are two small bedrooms, that have a very small conservatory roof section and both roof sections are leaking.
