Highly elevated non-invasive moisture readings were recorded to both sides of the toilet, and also in the laundry area. This requires urgent investigation and remediation to prevent damage to the floor, insulation, vinyl, and structural timber elements within the dwelling. - There are currently no seismic restraints fitted to the hot water cylinder. These were required at the time of installation and we recommend these are installed immediately to prevent the cylinder from being damaged or causing damage in an earthquake.
