Possible leaking pipe in lawn

After very cold weather noticed a pooling of water at one end of the front lawn where there had never been sitting water before. Thought it could be due to lawn irrigation system so turned the inlet for this off and after a week no change. Assume there is cracked pipe somewhere. Contacted the council and they suggested having a plumber look at it first

The tradesman did a great job in trying circumstances location wise. There were a few false starts but once the job was started it was completed very efficiently and to a high standard
