Basement Flood Prevention

Job description

Exterior Waterproofing
Auckland

The scope of work we are looking to have done is twofold. To permanently prevent water coming into a basement room, and sealing off the concrete floor before new carpet is laid. The basement room has recently started to flood in heavy rain from one side of the house (South). We are on a sloping section with no stormwater access - all stormwater runoff is captured on the property. There is some drainage, however this perhaps has perished over time. I have bogged up the inside where I could locate the problem, but not confident I have sealed all areas of possible ingress. The concrete floor was 6-8 years ago and there are weak areas where damp clearly comes through. We are looking for a solution to rising damp. We are in St Johns Auckland if you are interested, could you please arrange a site visit to scope and quote.

Robert was great to deal with, came when he said, explained the process and listened to any concerns, suggested solutions and accommodated some changes and add-ons. He came back after the job on request (very prompt) to sort out a minor touch up, and was very professional throughout. A pleasure to deal with. I would recommend Robert for any concreting and concrete waterproofing jobs.
